About Myriam

Here it is — tightened and easy to read, while keeping all the warmth:

My name is Myriam. After 14 wonderful years in Ireland, my family and I followed the sun to Mallorca, where I now proudly call home.

My journey into holistic health wasn't planned — it was lived. For eight years I worked in a high-pressure corporate job that I once loved and eventually grew to dread, to the point where it made me physically ill. When my first child was born, something shifted. It was time to listen to my heart.

I had been using essential oils for years, and motherhood gave me the push to formalise that passion. I trained properly and became a fully ITEC-qualified aromatherapist and reflexologist, finding my calling quickly in women's health — with a particular focus on maternity and postnatal care.

Then in 2019, everything changed. I gave birth to my second child at home — a planned homebirth I can only describe as one of the most empowering experiences of my life. It lit a fire in me. I wanted every woman to feel that deep trust in her body, that quiet confidence, that realisation that birth can be something extraordinary rather than something to fear.

From that moment, I threw myself into training — becoming a GentleBirth hypnobirthing instructor, learning acupressure and the Winner Flow device for labour support, and qualifying as a Doula with both DoulaCare Ireland and DoulasMallorca. I specialise in OP and breech presentations, VBAC, and gentle caesarean births.

But there is one more reason this work means so much to me.

I know what it feels like to build a life in a country that is not your own — to arrive full of hope and quietly wonder: how does this all work here? I have navigated unfamiliar systems in a language that wasn't mine, without a roadmap. When you are pregnant and far from home, those questions can feel overwhelming. That is exactly why I am here.

I want to be the person I wished I'd had — someone who knows the terrain, walks alongside you, and makes sure you never feel alone. Every parent, wherever they come from, deserves to feel supported, informed, and confident. I will be by your side, every step of the way. 🤍

(I am a registered member of the Irish Reflexologist Institute — a number of Irish health insurance providers cover reflexology, so it is worth checking with yours.)

Why LunaBirth?

Luna — because women are lunar. Our bodies naturally follow the rhythm of 13 moons a year, and the full moon has long been a symbol of birth, power, and transformation across cultures worldwide. LunaBirth Doula was born from that belief: that pregnancy and birth are cyclical, sacred, and deeply connected to the natural world. I am here to walk that journey with you.

Labour is powerful, magical, and sacred. My mission is simple: to give you the tools, the knowledge, and the support to experience birth on your own terms — with confidence, with trust in your body, and yes, even with joy.

Birth is so far removed from what you see on television. I want to show you what it can really be.

Birth like a lioness.
