Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period are deeply transformative experiences — moments where you deserve to feel supported, informed, and truly held.

My role is to be by your side — to listen, to guide, and to create a safe space where your choices are respected and your experience is honoured.

How I support you

Every journey is unique. My support is always tailored to your needs and may include:

  • Emotional support throughout pregnancy and birth

  • Practical tools for labour (breathing, movement, comfort techniques)

  • Evidence-based information to help you make informed choices

  • Continuous presence during labour

  • Support for your partner, so they feel confident and involved

  • Gentle postpartum follow-up and integration

For your birth, your way

Whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth, or birth centre experience in Mallorca, I am here to support you.

My approach is holistic and respectful — centred on your body, your rhythm, and your preferences.

A calm and grounded presence

Birth is not only physical — it is emotional and deeply personal.

Having a continuous, calm presence can make a meaningful difference in how you experience your birth. I am there to hold space, to remind you of your strength, and to support you through each moment.

The Closing of the Bones is a deeply nourishing postpartum ritual that honours the mother after birth, supporting her transition as she integrates her experience physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Rooted in traditional healing practices, this ceremony symbolically and physically helps “close” the body after the openness of pregnancy and birth, offering a sense of grounding, containment, and renewal.

It is a gentle space for rest, reconnection, and care — where the mother is held, supported, and deeply honoured.

What the ceremony offers

This ritual typically includes:

  • Gentle body wrapping and containment

  • Warmth and grounding touch

  • Emotional holding space

  • Relaxation and nervous system support

  • A moment to honour your journey through pregnancy and birth

A sacred postpartum experience

The Closing of the Bones ceremony is often described as a feeling of coming back home to yourself.

It supports integration after birth, helping the mother feel held, centred, and restored during the early postpartum period or later in her healing journey.

Postpartum Placenta Medicine – Honouring Your Cycle

The birth of a baby is also a profound rebirth for the mother.

The placenta — the incredible organ that nourished and sustained life throughout pregnancy — continues to hold value after birth. In postpartum care, it can be used as a natural resource to support physical recovery, emotional balance, and energetic restoration.

Why use the placenta after birth?

The practice of using the placenta after birth, known as placentophagy, is an ancient tradition that is now being rediscovered by families seeking a more natural and conscious postpartum experience.

Every placenta is unique, just like every birth. Many mothers who choose this practice report benefits such as:

  • Increased energy and vitality

  • Support with milk production

  • Improved mood and emotional balance

  • Reduced postpartum bleeding

  • A deeper sense of connection to their birth experience

What does the research say?

A study published in the Archives of Women’s Mental Health (2013) found that 96% of women who consumed their placenta reported positive effects, particularly in relation to mood and energy levels.

Another study in the Journal of Midwifery & Women’s Health (2018) examined its nutritional profile and identified notable levels of iron, which may support postpartum recovery and help reduce the risk of anaemia.

While scientific research is still developing, many women continue to report positive personal and emotional experiences with placenta use.

A gentle note

Placenta medicine is a personal choice. It is always important to be well-informed and supported by qualified professionals when considering postpartum practices.

Options can include:

  • Dehydrated placenta encapsulation (for easy postpartum use)

  • Mother tincture (long-term support, even into menopause)

  • Placenta chocolates

  • Artistic placenta print (a unique birth artwork)

  • Father tincture (a meaningful ritual of connection and bonding)

  • Umbilical cord tincture

  • Handmade baby teether (crafted keepsake for your baby)

  • And other small surprises created to honour life, love, and new beginnings

What People Are Saying

“Myriam was the best thing that happened to us during my pregnancy and birth! She is very knowledgeable, helpful, calm, caring and very strong despite her petite nature! You will realize when she works with you and rebozo like a champion!

She helped us so much before the birth, educated us on achieving my dream birth, and did so well at birth being alongside us, helping me so much with movements, massage, pushing stage, also helped my husband a lot when he was extremely tired and kept us going with her care. I highly recommend Myriam and her services to anyone who is looking to have a natural birth with a calm and caring doula. 🙏 Thank you so much for everything! 💖”

“We had the most incredible experience creating our Gentle Caesarean Birth Plan with Myriam and I cannot recommend her highly enough for anyone preparing for a planned C-section birth.

Before working with her, my husband and I had no idea that a planned caesarean birth plan was even possible. We assumed a C-section would be very clinical and fixed, with little room for personal choice. Myriam completely changed that for us. Through her thoughtful mix of online sessions and in-person support, she guided us step by step in creating a personalised gentle caesarean birth plan that made us feel informed, empowered, and genuinely excited for our baby’s birth.

She made both of us feel so comfortable from the start. No question ever felt silly, and she created such a warm, supportive space where we could ask anything openly. Her knowledge around gentle caesarean birth options, hospital advocacy, and making a planned C-section feel calm and special was invaluable.

Because of her support, our planned caesarean became the most positive birth experience we could have imagined. It truly was the best birth ever, and we felt prepared, confident, and deeply involved in every step.

If you are considering a gentle caesarean, planned C-section birth, or want help creating a birth plan that feels personal and empowering, Myriam is an amazing person to have by your side.”

“I’m so grateful for your support and presence during my pregnancy. Your calm, encouragement, and incredible knowledge gave me the confidence to trust my body and my choices to have a VBAC. “I can’t thank Myriam enough for what she did for me during the few weeks before my birth and at my birth. She stepped in when my original doula wasn’t able to work anymore and helped me achieve a vaginal birth after a previous cesarean. She was such a calming presence and continued to look after me and check in on me after I delivered. She also introduced me to a wonderful team of women who supported me with lactation help and night nurse services. I am forever grateful I crossed paths with Myriam and she will forever be connected to me when I think about my birthing experience here in Palma. I would recommend her doula services over anyone’s else’s.”
