Rebozo massage

€60.00

Rebozo massage is a traditional, gentle technique that uses a long woven cloth (rebozo) to support, rock, and softly mobilise the body. Rooted in Mexican midwifery traditions, it is especially beneficial during pregnancy, postpartum, and times of physical or emotional transition.

Through rhythmic movements, gentle shaking, and deep relaxation, the rebozo helps release tension in the body, particularly in the hips, pelvis, lower back, and shoulders.

Benefits of Rebozo massage:

  • Deep physical and emotional relaxation

  • Relieves tension in the pelvis, hips, and lower back

  • Supports optimal fetal positioning during pregnancy

  • Helps release fear, stress, and emotional blockages

  • Improves circulation and body awareness

  • Encourages a sense of grounding and safety

  • Supports postpartum recovery and body realignment

How is a session?

During the session, you will remain fully clothed and comfortably supported. The practitioner uses the rebozo cloth to gently rock, wrap, and sway different parts of the body.

Movements are slow, rhythmic, and adapted to your needs and stage (pregnancy, postpartum, or general wellbeing). The experience is deeply nurturing, often creating a sense of being held and contained.

Rebozo massage can be received alone or combined with other holistic pregnancy and postpartum therapies for deeper support.
